Jeff Greene is Director of Strategic Services, Social Media at HealthEd, where he helps leading healthcare organizations identify opportunities in the emerging digital landscape - including social networking, mobile marketing, and back-end technology platforms that support innovative patient marketing and education efforts. As a consultant and speaker he has traveled to the future extensively and has returned with insights, visions and occasionally a funny story about email subject lines for audiences in nearly every industry.
A long time ago, Jeff learned how to program on a Texas Instruments TI 99-4/A computer. (It had no disk drive, but it did have a 300-baud modem.) After graduating from Rutgers, Jeff became online content editor for the Asbury Park Press, one of the first U.S. newspapers to publish daily news on the web. He soon jumped to consulting and has never looked back. For 13 years he has taught organizations like Lucent Technologies, Dunkiní Donuts, Ingersoll-Rand, the IEEE, Kelly Services, Unilever, Novartis, Miller Brewing Company, and many small businesses how to incorporate new technologies into their current marketing plans.
Jeff challenges and entertains audiences at numerous conferences and workshops each year. Examples include: the Insurance & Financial Communicators Association, Association of Graphic Communications, National Association of Electrical Distributors, American Marketing Association, CPAmerica, Marketing Association of Credit Unions, Contact Lens Manufacturers Association and the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries. He is a member of the Advertising Club of New York and the Mobile Marketing Association, and past president of the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association, where he helped grow membership 100 percent.
